In January 2008 Elmotec Antriebstechnik AG has been appointed distributor for Toshiba Machines SCARA Robots for Switzerland, Liechtenstein and southern Germany.

These robots are being used in countless applications from clean rooms in pharmaceutical production, handling tasks for the logistics and packaging industry to numerous client-specific and tailor made solutions in small and medium sized enterprises. TOSHIBA Machines SCARA Robot Series is a family of 8 4-axis models with a maximum reach of 250mm to 1050mm. All units include a controller with an integrated PLC. Each unit is fully functional and ready to meet your perfomance needs right out of the box.

Controller
The controller with the integrated PLC is a base version with 38 input and 32 output capabilities for direct signals to any peripheral. There are 2 serial ports for external data exchange. The robot can be programmed on site with the handheld teaching panel.
